Good for charms, bendy. Patronus: Penguin Personality: It's easy to see the mix of both of her parents in Alexandra's personality. From her outgoing Gryffindor father, she gets her friendly nature. And from her sweet natured Hufflepuff mother, she gets her more relaxed and patient demeanor. Andi, as she prefers to be called, does not demand attention or even seek to be in the spot light. She is perfectly happy to be the best friend of, the second, whatever you want to call it. Andi is very down to earth and realizes that not everything in life is perfect. It annoys her at times when she can't fix a problem, though there are few times when she really looses her temper and breaks down. The only time she really takes to the spotlight is on the Quidditch field. It's not suprising she took to the game, considering who her grandmother is; Gwenog Jones, the former captain of the Harpies. In the air, she shines, unlike on the ground where she often trips over her own feet. Andi is a very kind, caring and loving person. She likes to listen and help. She's always willing to be there when someone needs a friend. Though that isn't to say that she can't sometimes be a bit of a gossip. It all depends on who she surrounds herself with, she's easily suceptible to the attitudes of those around her. If she's with the boys, she can slip into the role of just another one of them or if she's with the girls, she can be giggly and girly and talk about Witch Weekly for hours. History (Family/Personal): Andrew Kirke and Megan Jones graduated a year apart from each other, Megan a year ahead. While in school, they never looked twice at the other. It wasn't until three years after Andrew's graduation that the two ran into each other for the first time. A night at the bar turned into a weekend date and well, from there it just continued to bloom into the strong marriage that it still is today. Andrew and Megan opened their own Bed and Breakfast cateering to wizarding families and on occassion, their muggle relatives who knew about the wizarding world but wanted to immerse themselves in the culture a little more thoroughly. A year after their marriage in August of 2003, they conceived Alexandra. She was born nine months later, perfectly healthy and their little pride and joy. It was already determined by Andrew that she would never be allowed to date and that she would be his little princess for life. Andi, as she prefered to be called - just like her father who went mostly by Andy - was exactly that. At two, she was gifted a little brother. At the time it seemed exciting, she would have someone to play with and even take care of when she played house. And then Clark was born and all he ever did was scream and cry and she quickly lost interest in the baby. That isn't to say that they don't have a good relationship as brother and sister now though. Andi showed her first signs of magic at five when they went to the aquarium as a family. Claiming she didn't know how the penguin ended up at home with them at the end of the day, she had magically summoned the animal through the plexiglass barrier and smuggled him out of the park in her back pack. Penguins have been her favorite animal ever since. And she did eventually own up to her use of magic and was not punished for the act. The penguin was returned to the aquarium unharmed. So it was no shock at eleven when Andi recieved her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. It was a shock when she was placed into Ravenclaw on the other hand. She had never really been one much for studying or reading. She didn't care much about her grades, though she was never considered a bad student. The sorting hat had seen beyond that though, claiming that she was certianly clever and that she really did have quite a mind about her. Andi had always been a day dreamer and took to writing her dreams, night and day, into little stories. She hopes to one day have them published though that is not what she plans on doing with her life after school. Andi quickly took to her new surroundings in the school, making friends easily. In her fourth year, she tried out for a chaser position on the quidditch team. She made reserves and it wasn't until her sixth year that she was bumped up from reserves and into the chaser position. For now, Andi is just trying to make it through her seventh year. | |||||||||
